The Bogota Beautiful team is taking a field trip to Nyack, NY to check out their “First Friday” monthly event for inspiration for our own Storefront Art project:

“Announcing First Fridays in Nyack! Sponsored by the Nyack Art Collective, First Friday will pair up artists and local businesses for art exhibitions throughout downtown Nyack. Beginning July 5, and every first Friday of each month, downtown Nyack will be bustling with art openings, interactive “happenings,” body and face painting, music, jugglers and more scattered throughout the village.

Every Friday, beginning July 5, 2013, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm in downtown Nyack.”
